Please note the following, especially if this is your first time:

★ Wear comfortable clothing, preferably not too loose, this allows the teacher to accurately observe physical alignment and actions in the body.
★ Bare feet is the rule in yoga and an empty stomach is recommended (wait about 2-3 hours after a heavy meal and 30 minutes after a light snack).
★ Please refrain from wearing perfume when coming to class. Intermediate practitioners’ senses become acute and strong smells can be distracting.
★ We have props at the studio, as well as mats, but you are encouraged to bring your own mat, if you have one.
★ Drink water, after class. Not during. Not cold water. Warm water with lemon is nice.
★ Become familiar with abhyanga. Massaging the oils as well as getting them into your body. This helps with joint health as well as inner fluidity….

ALL classes are suitable for beginner students, with no previous yoga experience.
Arrive to class 10 minutes early if it’s your first time, so that you can mention any injuries, limitations or concerns you might have.
